1990
- Formation of the individual enterprise Heizungs- und Metallbau (heating engineering and metal construction) with two employees in Obermarxgrün near Oelsnitz [Vogtland]
1993
- Relocation to a newly constructed company building in the industrial area of Oelsnitz
- Separation of the metal sector from the finishing trade and conversion into a GmbH (private limited company) - formation of K-Metall GmbH
- Rise in the number of employees to more than 40
- Acquisition of a punch-nibbling machine TRUMPF TC 200 and a bending press EHT/250
1997
- Introduction of quality management in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001, as well as the setting up of a universally EDP-based technological chain - from order entry and monitoring to preparation of drawings, machine utilisation right up to dispatch notification [PPS>CAD>CAM].
1998
- Construction of another production building [approximately 2000m²]
- Acquisition of a laser cutting machine TRUMPF TC L3030 and a punch/nibbling machine TRUMPF TC 500R
1999
- Connection of both machines to an automatic high rack warehouse with 380 storage areas
- Capital expenditure for both years: 2.5 million euros
2000
- New construction of a production hall [2500m²]
- Expansion of the machinery: Laser cutting machine
TRUMPF TC L3030 roto,
automatic long goods storage with 320 storage cassettes as well as
different aluminium profile machining equipment - Capital expenditure: 3.5 million euros
2001
- Expansion of the administrative building

- Acquisition of a welding robot REIS SRL 80/6 with 2x
interchangeable workstation with rotating device
2006
- Acquisition of another high-speed machining centre HANDTMANN for aluminium and light steel sheet profiles;
- Welding certification in accordance with DIN6700-2 (“railway standard”)
- approximately 50 employees on a production surface of 5000 m²
2007
- Welding certification in accordance with DIN18800-7 class D (steel constructions)
2008
- Acquisition of a 5-axis CNC machining centre DMG Gildemeister DMU80
- Recertification as per the railway standard - now DIN15085-2 certification grade CL1 (rail vehicles and vehicle parts)
2010
- Welding certification in accordance with DIN2303 classes Q1 and Q2 (defence products)
2011
- further investments in machinery (5KW laser system, 4m bending press, CNC machining centre DMG Gildemeister DMF260)
